Bandelier National Monument Postcard

These retro national park postcards were adapted from photographs by Rob Decker to create original artwork in the style of Works Progress Administration posters from the 1930s and 40s. Frame the ones you’ve visited or use them to invite your friends hiking, camping, and backpacking!

This card features a vintage-style design from the National Park Posters collection. It’s printed on 100% recycled and domestically produced “Conservation” paper using soy-based inks; the paper is white and relatively thin but dense and sturdy. The back of each postcard includes several sentences on the history and natural features of its park, as well as copyright information and space for a stamp.

From the artist: “I am a photographer and graphic artist who had the rare and amazing opportunity to study under Ansel Adams in Yosemite National Park when I was just 19 years old. I have been visiting and photographing our National Parks for more than 50 years, and now I’m using my original photographs to create these limited-edition prints in the style of the Works Progress Administration.

One of my main goals is to support our National Parks and increase awareness for the need to protect and preserve some of the world’s most amazing landscapes, as well as this country’s rich culture and vibrant history. Giving back is important to me, and each year I donate 10% of annual profits to a wide range of organizations that support our National Parks.”
