These regional postcards illustrated by Nilina Mason-Campbell celebrate the signature elements of each place where she spends her time, from the lighthouses of Michigan and bodega cats of NYC to the maple syrups of Vermont.
The 4×6 cards are printed in full color with a UV gloss coating. The black-and-white matte backs feature the artist’s name, website, and logo, plus three address lines and a state-outline space for a stamp. The cardstock of this card is on the thinner side but dense and relatively sturdy.
From the artist: “I love to do and make. I’ve been a crafty businesswoman since childhood, selling friendship bracelets for 25 cents each on the playground in elementary school and collaged bookmarks throughout middle school. By high school I’d graduated to brick and mortar stores, selling beaded bobby pins at a local store.
As a sentimental and nostalgic person as well as a frequent traveler, it made sense to marry those aspects together in the form of an illustrated souvenir and sideline collection. … My product line has expanded, but my ethos remain the same: making things I’d want to use myself and things that are fun and whimsical.”
