This is one of the coolest postcard sets I’ve ever seen—the animals are so detailed! I want to use like ten of these to make an art project or something.
This postcard is one of 50 original animals from around the world illustrated by Dieter Braun, and designed by Francesca Truman. The animals communicate quite a lot of emotion and are organically geometric with rich colors. The postcards are printed on relatively thick white cardstock, with rounded edges and image borders reaching all the way to the sides of the paper.
Each postcard has a fun fact or two about the animal on the front. E.g. from Giant Panda: “It looks like a teddy bear, it’s technically a predator, but the Giant Panda eats almost nothing other than bamboo. This tough diet requires a strong jaw and large molars, which combine to give the beloved creatures their distinctive wide head.”
From the package: “Journey into the wild with 50 unique postcards that celebrate the beauty and diversity of species from every continent—from Humpback Whales in Antarctica to the Giant Panda in Asia. Perfect for mailing, framing, or using as gift tags.”
