A New Day Postcard

These showstopping square postcards feature original art in kaleidoscopic color palettes by Seattle-based designer and illustrator extraordinaire Angella Watterson—the three cobranded cards are a first for The Postcard Maven, and something you won’t find anywhere else!

Each card is printed on sturdy 18pt paper with a durable matte finish that’s silky-smooth and soft to the touch. The backs feature address lines and space for a stamp (printed in pink!), plus Angelope Design and Postcard Maven logos in the bottom right. The square shape and oversized height of these postcards require additional postage: Due to being taller than 4.25”, they mail at standard letter rates, with a non-machinable surcharge added due to the square shape. (As of 2021, this amounts to $0.75, which can be accomplished neatly by using a 2-ounce stamp.)

From the artist: “Angella Watterson is a Seattle-based graphic designer and illustrator who loves to doodle colorful things, especially animals and typography. She is a coffee lover and teacup collector who does NOT enjoy hiking, unlike 90% of her fellow Seattleites. Angella got her business brand name, Angelope Design, from a friend who combined her first name with the weird but loveable jackalope (a fitting animal that represents her accurately).”
