Founded in 1999 in Olympia, Washington, Buy Olympia offered a way for the founders to support their artist friends in pursuing their passions. The company has since become an international operation, publishing and distributing work by amazing artists of all kinds from their current home base in Portland, Oregon. Today, they focus most directly on amplifying art that inspires wonder, sparks smiles, and encourages self-expression.
This particular postcard features art by Hiller Goodspeed, a Vancouver, B.C.-based illustrator and creator of mini-comics. It is printed on smooth white cardstock of average thickness, with a glossy finish on both sides; the backs, printed in black and white, include a signature and five address lines, plus a stamp space featuring a peace sign, all drawn by the artist.
