The first completely original design created from concept to card by The Postcard Maven, this black-and-white moon calendar postcard highlights the traditional names for each month’s full moon from January through December. It’s great as a reference to display on your wall or share with the other lunar enthusiasts in your life.
The postcard is printed on sturdy 18-point recycled white cardstock, with a UV-resistant satin coating. The front showcases a grid featuring the popular name for each consecutive month’s full moon, from Wolf Moon to Strawberry Moon and Thunder Moon to Cold Moon. The backs feature information about where our names for the full moons come from and what they signify, as well as a moon phase dividing line, Postcard Maven logo, four address lines, and a blue-moon-shaped space for a stamp.
About the art: As I’ve increasingly tuned into the subtleties of seasonal shifts around me in recent years, I created this postcard to celebrate the rich history of looking to the moon for guidance throughout each trip we take around the sun.
